DatAdmin 5.0 is out!

We are happy to announce release 5.0 of DatAdmin. This version contains mainly lot of user interface improvements, we were hard worked on this release several months. Now is administration of your database much simplier and more effective.

Custom dashboards

The most visible new feature are new dashboards associated with impotant database objects (server, database, table, view). These dashboards are active, you can use context-menu actions and also it is usable for navigating in connection tree. You can also customize layout of any dashboard.

SQL generating

There is new dialog for generating SQL code replacing old complicated system of context menus. This dialog allows flexible setup, you can set additional generator parameters, change SQL dialect of output SQL code, and define target of generated code.

Other improvements

• Table perspectives can hold information about layout of master/detail frames, perspectives are shown in connection tree
• Reorganized context menus, grouping of similar features
• SQL window - new status bar with useful information, some bugs fixes
• Cell editors are now docked directly in main window, there are no tabs for all formats. This brings you much bigger control, how cell data are displayed.
• Table data window (+Data browser)
  • Better support for master/detail views
  • Ability to choose columns of search filter
  • Removed "Go to reference" feature and history toolbar. With new master-detail views this feature is obsolete
